Peddlers selling peto (typical food), on the caribbean coast of colombia, are announced by a particular sound. The sound is now an element of popular culture in the area, carrying connotations linked to life in the neighborhood. This sound is therefore a cultural value and has established itself as a geographical mark. There is also a mandarin fruit seller at the back. Unfortunately recorded by a rode mic connected to a panasonic camera recorder. Recorded in 48khz 16bit wave. .

Recorded at tea, a museum in santa cruz de tenerife. I was invited by dancer masu fajardo to create some sound ambients for a dance piece she was doing there, we decided to use only the sounds being created by her body and her interactions with the space. Here are the sounds of masu stepping at gravel and stone garten at the museum. Recorded with a zoom h4 n.

I nice little flowing river sound i recorded while at muir woods outside of san fransisco. The sound can be looped to sound continuous for as long as is needed. I like it because it fills up a lot of the frequency spectrum, so it can be great for adding ambience.

Recorded some sounds, filtered out the noize, reversed it and put paulstretcher on it. Had to amplify the bass, because there was an incredibly awkward high-pitch sound in the background. Modular synth patch where two envelopes are involved in a chase. There could have been a rhythm, but i let chaos disturb theharmony. The triangle wave sounds are "distorted" in a wave rectifier. Kind of metallic sound? interesting. The kind of patch only an owner to a modular synth findany interest in. Maybe a little more interesting then theprevious sound. . . This has an ambient feel. This is a a non directional mic recording of a shower which is running from start to finish of the clip. The shower is a rain type shower falling onto stone and grout, for a smoother sound than most jet type onto porcelain or fiberglass tub.
